Plague doctor, plague doctor what’s all the fuss? Been waiting for 4 hours, draining out the pus. P doctor, where you been? 50 in the graveyard and more to go in. That’s a little song. Let’s just call that in progress. Anywho, check out this creepy and cool Plague Doctor Lamp. Isn’t that little guy adorable? He’s reading by lantern light. Probably brushing up on his bedside manner or something. Not that he needs to. This guy is cute as hell and you’ll feel better just knowing that he’s on the case.

He just makes me smile. This Plague Doctor Lamp is the perfect light to read by and if you feel ill, well the doctor is in. You can choose from several different lamp colors. It pairs well with this Plague Doctor Doll. I’m obsessed with both.

The doctor is in. This Plague Doctor Doll looks pretty cool. He’ll keep you safe from the plague. Which I am famous for curing by the way. How did I do it? Through science and chemistry? Through harvesting herbs? Hell no. I just changed the “g” to a “q”. And ever since these Plague doctors have been known as plaque doctors. So instead of battling the plague, they battle plaque in your teeth and in your arteries, while earning awesome plaques for their service which they decorate their offices with.

See, I cured the damn thing. I don’t even get any credit. Awesome Plague Doctor Doll anyway.

Yeah, this is me giving you the bird. The Bird Plague Doctor Mask. Because we live in weird times. I like how it looks really filthy like it’s made from dead bone. Hey, maybe wash every now and then and then you won’t have plagues that you need a mask for. Just an idea. Call me crazy but a little bit of soap goes a long way my bird brotha. Somehow I don’t think people would appreciate it if you walked around your local town in this while everyone is sheltering in place. I’m social distancing myself from all bird people until this thing is over with. Heck, maybe I’ll wear this thing and shelter in nest. Making cawing noises as is appropriate for the end times. Where are you hauling me off too? I was cawing, nit coughing! Caw! Caw! Caw my lawyer! I don’t have the caw vid.

Hold the phone! The Plague Doctor is in the house and now he can be in yours! If you really want him around, that is. This folk horror inspired illustration of a Plague Doctor is artwork based on an original pen and ink drawing. A plague doctor was a medical physician who was sent to “treat” victims of the bubonic plague. They wore a special outfit with this terrifying beak, to protect the doctor from the poisonous vapors of the disease. Plus, they just like to look like birds. The mask would be stuffed with herbs and spices. Not 11 secret herbs and spices. So it didn’t smell like KFC. The presence of the plague doctor meant that death was imminent.
