I can’t help but think of this Cryptid crate as the mother of all gifts. It is a collection of various cryptid items wrapped up in a single package. There’s a new one every month. There are stickers with illustrations of Bigfoot, Mothman, and the Lake Champlain Monster, plus a spice called “Chupacabra Rub and Seasoning”. There are also pins and Bigfoot socks as well. I question the wisdom behind naming a pair of socks “Bigfoot socks” granted how small a human’s feet are (see what I did there).

Playmobil 9312 Take Along Haunted House

Probably not the adrenaline rush you get from watching a truly horrific Horror movie, but you’ll get a kick out of playing with the Playmobil 9312 Take Along Haunted House. Okay, the name is a bit of a mouthful and the fact that there’s no actual blood will be good news for folks who just want a light scare. I like the idea of a scared villager exploring a lab with creepy stuff happening all around, myself.
And what do you get to fight all the evil that’s out there trying to get you? A Broom! Not an axe, not a shotgun, or anything remotely effective against the bad guys. A broom. Maybe you are meant to clean up the mess once you are done with the bad guys. There are some other accessories that come with it as well, but no effective weapons. You can also find it here.
Horror Movie Edition Trivial Pursuit

I love trivia games. Probably cuz I’m so smart. I’d be great at this Horror Movie Edition Trivial Pursuit. How did Michael Myers kill that dude? Easy, with a sharpened Twix. Did so. Oh wait, you’re talking about the movie. I was talking about that kid in 3rd grade that went crazy on Halloween night in 1998. See, I still win. Who is Leatherface? Easy, it’s the old lady down the street. I’m so good at trivia.
Vintage Horror Monster Cookies

You will find these Vintage Horror Monster Cookies either too awesome or too scary to eat. This Halloween sugar-cookies set features all the classic horror film characters you could want to take a bite out of. They are so detailed and real, some people just won’t have the stomach to eat them at night. Or maybe you have no stomach because the wolfman slashed you wide open.
You can put these out on Halloween or any other occasion and they will be gobbled up.
Artist Carves Cthulhu Out of Watermelon

You have to be really really good at carving to create such a detailed carving of Cthulhu from a watermelon. But the question that lingers is why Valeriano Fatica even bothers calling it a tutorial (for most of us mere mortals). Nevertheless, if you are good with your hands and know your way around a carving knife, you can actually come up with some kickass watermelon carvings of your own. Instead of the normal pumpkin carvings everyone seems to be obsessed with. Stick a light in it and you have a red-eyed monster to behold.
