This Classic Movie Monsters 8 Bit Pixel Art is scary. Video game style monsters just freak me out. I’m gonna decorate my house with these guys and pretend I’m in a video game with them. I’ll be all Sonic, running super fast and they’ll be doing their slow monster shuffle. Then my mom will probably turn the game off and tell me to get to school just like she did when I was a kid.

These days she turns my internet off and tells me to get a job. Then she uses phrases like “40 years old” and “Do you enjoy living in your mother’s basement?” She needs to get her priorities straight and focus on work, so I have a place to live. Damn.

I’ve gotten some of my best gifts from random skeleton hands reaching out from my desk. This Raised Skeleton Jewel Box Sculpture is no exception. It is a lovely shiny skeleton hand holding a jewel box. It is embellished with Celtic crosses, skulls, cross bones and sparkling faux gems. It’s pretty awesome.

Never look a gift skeleton in the mouth. I mean hand.

Fun fact: For years I thought that an alchemist was just a chemist named Al. Now I know better and I don’t go referring to chemists with their first name followed by the word chemist. Oh, hi Ted-chemist. How are you Chad-Chemist? Sup Fred-Chemist? Anyway, this Miniature Alchemist’s Potion Cupboard is perfect for pint sized chemical enthusiasts.

I’m not getting it though. Last time I had something like this displayed, a couple of mice studied the art of chemistry and created some toxic knockout gas, putting me to sleep and taking all my stuff.
